Physiology of energetic and metabolic processes and endocrine control of metabolism in both healthy and disease states. Biochemistry of metabolism and the role of macro- and micronutrients in maintenance of homeostasis are examined. Prerequisites: BI 307/BI 307L. Offered in the fall semester.
