Catalog description

Nursing required course. Study of nutrients and their respective functions, food sources, and physiological needs. Dietary guidance and nutritional requirements through the lifespan are explored. Role of nutrition in prevention of, and intervention in, chronic diseases. Prerequisites: EN-102, COM-101, BI-152, BI-152L, BI-162, BI-162L, CH-254, CH-254L, NUR-202, NUR-203 and Nursing major.
