Catalog description

This professional elective course is designed to provide the pharmacy student with an introduction to various disease states while addressing attitudes and concerns of the patient. The purpose of the course is to develop the concepts of compassion and empathy for those with a chronic illness and those caring for these individuals. Prerequisites: Successful completion of first semester P2 curriculum.
