Catalog description

This course explores the philosophical and scientific underpinnings for nursing practice relevant to the role of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Students will appraise models and theories for application, translation, and implementation of best evidence into improving healthcare outcomes. Prerequisites: BSN entry to DNP students: NSG-6070 Principles of Evidence-Based Nursing Practice; NSG-6500 Applied Scholarship in Advanced Nursing Practice. (Fee: $50)
