Catalog description

The focus of this course is graduate level clinical practice experience. Students will complete 100 hours of precepted and faculty supervised clinical learning opportunities in direct patient care settings. Additionally, students will develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in the delivery of advanced nursing care. Prerequisites: NSG-6150 Advanced Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Genomics for Advanced Nursing Practice; NSG-6160 Advanced Pharmacology for Advanced Nursing Practice; NSG-6170 Advanced Health Assessment and Diagnostic Reasoning for Advanced Nursing Practice.
