Catalog description

Development of news stories for transmisison to print, broadcasting and online media outlets within the university (Cedars, In the Loop, 99.5, Cedars Online) either individually or as a member of a team under the supervision of a faculty mentor. The practicum is organized in a news agency format with a rotating editorial board. Prerequisites: JOUR-1000 Multiplatform Journalism 1; JOUR-2000 Multiplatform Journalism 2; or permission of instructor.
