Catalog description
Introduction to the fundamentals of power circuits, the characteristics and analysis of transformers, the four basic types of rotating machine (DC, SM, IM and VRM), and their control. Two lecture hours and one two hour lab per week. Prerequisite: EGEE-2010 Circuits or EGEE-2050 Circuits and Instrumentation.
