Catalog description

An introduction to the use of formal and informal assessment techniques for identification and remediation of reading difficulties. Teacher candidates learn practical instructional strategies for teaching students with reading problems and apply the techniques by working with elementary students in whole class and small group school settings. Prerequisite: EDEC-2300 Phonics and Literacy Development. (Fee: $25)
