Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to accounting for state and local governments as identified by the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and accounting for nonprofit organizations according to standards issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). Prerequisite: undergraduate course equivalent to Accounting II (Managerial).
