Catalog description
This offering of INTRO TO US LEGAL SYSTEMS is only available to MLS and CLS students. It provides an overview of the U.S. legal system, as well as an introduction to the type of legal thinking and legal analysis that are required in law school classes. The class introduces students to the structure and procedures that apply in several distinctive areas of law. MLS and CLS students are encouraged but are not required to enroll in this one-unit course. JD students and Foreign Exchange students may not enroll.
