Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the various aspects of litigating claims of elder abuse and neglect involving healthcare providers such as skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice entities, and hospitals. While the course will focus substantively on elder abuse litigation, it will address law practice themes that are common to all forms of tort litigation, including best practices relating to pleading, law and motion practice, settlement, trial, and client relations.
