Catalog description

This course is sensitive to the current bar exam and to the upcoming Nextgen UBE bar exam. The course covers family, marriage, dissolution, legal separation, annulment, property rights at dissolution, issues related to the enforceability of agreements between spouses (premarital, marital, and marriage settlement agreements), community property basics, spousal support, child custody and support, rights of cohabitants, and the California domestic violence prevention law. Current family law related topics of particular interest to the instructor may also be covered.
