The course emphasizes both individual and group movement practices as portals for therapeutic insight, interpersonal connection, and embodied change. Students will become familiar with directed and free-movement approaches utilizing modalities such as Sensory Awareness, Authentic Movement, dance and movement therapy, Body-Mind Centering, The Moving Cycle, movement improvisation, Laban/Bartenieff fundamentals, and expressive arts individually, in dyads, and in groups.
