Catalog description

This course focuses on the normative opacity and complexity of human consciousness, exploring it from a variety of perspectives and foregrounding a comparison among Freudian, Relational, Bionian, and post-Bionian modes. Psychoanalytic theories that configure the mind/psyche/soul/interpersonal relationships are set in relation to clinical phenomena. Post-Bionian field theory is emphasized, revealing the multiple ways in which un/conscious process is perceived, experienced and integrated into psychotherapy and personal development. RESTRICTED TO PSYD STUDENTS
