Catalog description
This multi-modal course will explore multiple lineages, experiences, stories of mothering to demonstrate the plurality of this role. In particular, the class will focus on mothering as a form of spiritual activism looking to create futures that are equitable and just. Mothering is explored throughout different cultures, histories, and other contextual frameworks to expand the awareness and imaginations of what this role can inspire. Students will encounter examples of mothering as they are encouraged to birth transformation. PRIORITY REGISTRATION TO WSE AND WGSSJ STUDENTS
