Catalog description
Through lecture, readings, discussion, experientials, and vignettes, this course will cover comparative historical and contemporary views of the development of adult psychopathology and the categorization system of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual. Students will learn about differential diagnosis, comorbidity, pharmacology, and the use of psychometric assessment tools, as well as understand varying sociocultural perceptions and transpersonal interpretations of diagnostic categorizing. RESTRICTED TO ICPW STUDENTS
