Catalog description

This proseminar supports students in identifying and pursuing meaningful career directions grounded in their values, identities, and areas of expertise. Through in-person sessions, students engage in self-assessment, goal setting, and strategic career planning while building skills in personal branding, confidence cultivation, and articulating professional identity. Emphasis is placed on developing job-seeking materials-such as portfolios, CVs, and resumes-that reflect students' distinct voices and commitments. Open to students at any stage of professional development, this course provides a supportive space to envision and refine pathways within sexuality-related fields. The proseminar offers a hybrid networking and professional development opportunity, available synchronously online in the Fall and in-person in the Spring. Students are required to attend at least one session, though participation in both is encouraged. RESTRICTED TO CSS STUDENTS (EXCEPT FALL 2026)
