Catalog description

This course, geared toward first-semester undergraduate students in Psychedelic Studies, provides a foundation for understanding the theory and practice of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. The course introduces students to essential concepts in the theory and practice of psychodynamic psychology and psychotherapy, then goes on to examine the psychological effects of psychedelics, how psychedelics can be effectively integrated into psychotherapeutic processes, and how the effects of specific psychedelic compounds might lend themselves to specific therapeutic results.
