There are different approaches to studying the relationships between people and the environment from an interdisciplinary lens. In this course, we will draw from the fields of Social Ecology, Political Ecology, Indigenous Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and decolonization processes. Considerations of historical and socio-political contexts, relationships of bodies with territories, as well as land and seed pedagogies, will help us trace a contemporary praxis of collective responses to our ecological crisis.
