Catalog description

The principal mechanism of community building and in person in Anthropology and Social Change department is the required residential component, or the intensive. Our students will be able to take part of their units in person; but this experience is made pedagogically and socially even more significant by the collective experience of attending and discussing public talks. Each cohort will be treated to an inspiring combination of fieldwork exercises, film screening, social events, skill-based in-person courses, workshops, and collaborative sessions. In order to keep the pedagogical integrity of our program, attendance at our intensives will be required by all students. RESTRICTED TO ANTHROPOLOGY MASTERS STUDENTS
