Applies techniques of coastal environmental monitoring from shore, ships, satellites, or underwater observatories to hands-on marine science research related to climate change, coastal erosion, pollution, fisheries, and biodiversity. Students deepen their knowledge of the ocean by engaging in project-based learning. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
