Symphonic Winds

Catalog description

Rehearses and performs contemporary symphonic wind repertoire, with correct playing techniques applicable to the stylistic demands of contemporary literature. Student must have the ability to read music at sight, play a wind or percussion instrument at college level proficiency which is demonstrated by audition. May be offered in a distance-learning format. Limitation on enrollment: Audition required. Repeatability: May be taken a total of 4 times; thereafter may be audited. CAB GE C. C-ID: MUS 180
