Catalog description

Applied private instruction for music majors in the student's specific performing medium with emphasis on preparation, technique, and performance. Students will develop and apply their performance skills by studying music literature with a private instructor. Composition students will study historical examples and build their portfolio of original works. End-of-semester performance in a recital or jury is required. Some of the class hours for this course may be scheduled as To Be Arranged (TBA). May be offered in a distance-learning format. Limitations on enrollment: Students must be declared music majors to be eligible for enrollment in MUS-416PL.
