Catalog description

Introduces and develops the study of common practice harmony and melody through figured bass and analysis as represented by the works of Bach and Handel; knowledge of scales, key signatures, intervals and chords, equivalent to MUS 5 or MUS 6, is necessary to succeed in this course. Some of the class hours for this course may be scheduled as To Be Arranged (TBA). May be offered in a distance-learning format. CAB GE C, Cal-GETC 3A. C-ID: MUS 120.
