Introduces single-camera video through hands-on production including analysis of aesthetic theories, terminology, and the evolution of video. Provides introductory training in digital video operation, audio production, field lighting, and basic editing techniques while examining the composition and conceptual strategies of video pre-production, production, and post-production practices. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
