Catalog description

This course is an overview of the major categories of psychological disorders, including prevalent theories, empirical research, and current trends in psychopathology across the developmental lifespan. Students will examine current diagnostic practices and receive instruction in the use of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
