Catalog description

This course introduces students to the theory, principles, psychometrics, and practices of psychological assessment within clinical psychology. Emphasizing both theoretical foundations and practical applications, the course covers the administration, scoring, interpretation, and ethical considerations of commonly used psychological assessment tools, with particular focus on assessment of cognitive function. Students will learn to select appropriate assessment instruments, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and integrate assessment findings into clinical practice.
