This course introduces social psychology, the scientific study of how individuals think about, influence, and relate to others. Core themes include the power of the situation, the primacy of behavior and the inaccuracy of social perception. Topics include the self, social judgement, prejudice and discrimination, social influence, conformity and obedience.
