Catalog description
This course focuses on providing person and family centered care to childbearing women, children, and childrearing families. The nursing process and concepts of clinical judgement, communication & compassionate care, ethics, determinants of health, diversity, equity & inclusion will be applied when planning nursing care for children and families in multiple spheres of care. (3 hrs. class per week, 67.5 hr. clinical per session)
