Catalog description
This course introduces implementation of the nursing process and clinical judgement when taking care of adults with illness or disease. Concepts of clinical judgement, communication, compassionate care & determinants of health will be used to examine health alterations in cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine/metabolic, immune function, and integumentary systems. Spheres of regenerative/restorative and chronic disease care are emphasized. (3 hrs. class per week, 67.5 hr. clinical per session)
