Catalog description

This course covers the background, basic principles, and methods of public health epidemiology, including determinants of health and disease in various populations, measures of disease frequency, ethics in epidemiology, and interpretation of public health studies and data. Content also includes epidemiologic approaches for health education and disease prevention to optimize disease outcomes in individual patients and broader populations and communities.
