Gender & Queerness in US Hist

Catalog description

This course surveys U.S. history through the lens of gender and sexuality from the Early Republic through the 20th Century in order to explore the ways in which historical experiences have been shaped by identity. Students will analyze themes including how race has influenced gender experience, fashion, and social activism.
