Catalog description
Builds a foundation of basic business concepts and increases the student's appreciation of the functional areas of business. Emphasis is on the role of each functional area, how the organization integrates the functions, fundamental business concepts and the use of technology to operate successfully. Learning to use basic technology as it relates to business practices is integrated with knowledge of the concepts. The course incorporates a stakeholder perspective that considers all constituencies impacted by the firm.
