Catalog description

An introduction to current concepts of normal human physiology and anatomy with an awareness of how disease alters normal health. Themes of the course will include strategies for achieving and maintaining optimum health and wellness, the scientific method of inquiry, and quantitative analysis. This course may include animal dissection. Non-science majors are encouraged to take this course. Three hours lecture, two hours laboratory.
